Retail sales of dishwashers posted a 14% increase in volume terms to reach 245,000 units

During 2012, retail sales of dishwashers posted a 14% increase in volume terms to reach 245,000 units. During the recession, sales of dishwashers experienced a strong drop in sales, recording 49% volume sales decline in 2009. Dishwashers witnessed the first signs of recovery only in the second quarter of 2012; however, the rebound in growth was not as sudden as the decline during the time of economic recession.
